I've had my Akita now for going on ten years. Tiko was my first Akita. Sure wish I knew about this breed about 30 years ago! I'm dedicated to helping this breed by the only way I know...through graphics.

ARUG (Animal Rescue Using Graphics) tries to help animals get adopted from shelters. A group of volunteers will create, from your shelter's pictures: frames, a short history. Then you can print these out and post them on websites, in stores around you area. A pretty poster gets attention!

An Akita is not for everyone, and there are so many dogs that need to be saved.
